Cheers :2thumbsup

Oh sorry, by CB400SS I mean the Japanese domestic brand-new 400 single. Awesome piece of kit. Not the 70s CB400F Super Sport

Throw the larger capacity GB tank on one of those and away :)

Somewhere, God knows where I've got the entire microfiche drawings on a file. Might be in my external hdd but most likely amongst heaps of discs. I can try to find it but I know I downloaded of the net back when I had my cb400f2 supersport.

That would be cool too -- I'm deeply in love with the 70s CB400Fs with the inline-four and those (THOSE!) headers. However the CB400SS is a modern bike, came out in 2004 or something, still produced. It's a single. I think it's only for Japan, a few seem to escape as grey imports elsewhere in the world.

oh, this was a 1996 (I think) il4 cb400f2 supersport, not much use to what you want I guess.

Also very cool -- there's one that turns up to uni sometimes, four upswept megaphones just like the old GP bikes:2thumbsup

Honda makes marvellous middleweights. Wish they'd import some here.

+1. I'm a fan of the older Hondas too... about the newest one I want is a CBX 6...

Honda NZ are generally terrible at offering new in NZ plenty of cars / bikes we'd quite like to see available... but it's been like that for years. But then, NZ seems to be stuck in "Hondas are gay, ug ug Holden/Ford..." mode, or similar. There's a much better selection and better support elsewhere in the world, especially for Honda motorbikes.

Would be interesting doing a comparison with the lean burn Enfeilds and SR400s.

Those headers ... yes, just beautiful the way they slithered down the front of the engine huh! I admired a red 400/4 in our local bike shop for ages when I was about 18.

This was my pride and joy until not too long ago, was awesome to ride and the sound out of the original exhausts was primo. It sat in the local dealers showroom until I sold it on tardme awhile back and it disappeared to a bloke in the south island...

There is a CB400 il4 available as a current model in Hong Kong and probably Singapore.

That 400 single is fantastic styling from Honda.

Nice looking bike.
Would suit the new learner rules, too.

Bump. For the wee Asian fella to drool over. There's a CB400ss up for auction on trademe at the moment. I'm sure more will filter in as fuel prices rise and the learner capacity rules change.

Heheh looks hot with the aluminium tank. Perhaps a future successor for the SR400 in terms of customisation.

Since when am I either wee or Asian, btw? :shit:
