You'll probably find the mods have already discussed the issue and formulated a pollicy.

More polls? Definitely. As long as they are well constructed, there is an expiry date on them, and they have a meaningful title (as they are posted separately on the home page). God help me, if I see another poll (or thread for that matter) titled "What should I do?" I may lose complete control of what passes for my sense of reason.

You bi-polar Hitcher?
You reckon you'd poleaxe the person who posted that 'What should I do' poll?

If we had one forum where all old polls were placed, would that be a pole-vault?
Is the affliction of creating poorly constructed polls called 'polio'?
Is having too many polls called 'pollution'?
Ah that'll do for now.

Poll vaulting is going from poll to poll.
Poorly constructed polls is pollitics.
Having too many polls is polligimy.
Pollution is when polls are full of, or about, rubbish
Does that help ???

Someone seems to have a rather pollenated imagination.
If you cut down the voting options on a poll - could it then be considered appropriate to refer to it as a pollard?
And why was that fella from Cambodia called Poll Pot when he didn't ask for anyones opinion?

And a poll that moves the furniture around is a polltergeist.
And a bovine respondent is a Polled Angus.
And a person who polls more than once is a polligamist.

A poll that leaves you cold is pollar.
To breed more polls, is to pollinate.
A poll showing 3 or more points of view is a pollygon

I guess persons who just ad libs it should be referred to as pollies...
A moderator who closes down a poll would be a pollinctor.
The computer belonging to a poll-dancer could be considered a poll station.
A small poll would be a pollisimo.

Are you sure? I mean, maybe - just to be on the safe side - you should run on a poll about it

But if I did,I'd have to run a poll about what options to put in the poll and then a poll to decide what I do with the findings of the poll. Nah, I'll do the ironing.

We should have a poll on pot Then we could call it Poll Pot.
Sorry that's the best I could come up with. The word field came to mind with pot but any mention of that could be a bit tacky as in sticky pot.
