About 1600 this afternoon, just north of Putaruru on SH1....

GSXR 1100 or 750 pulled by a bronze mufti Commodore with the red and blues flashing in the rear window as befits the spirit of Xmas :argh:

It was absolutely hammering down with rain, poor biker standing by the roadside getting absolutely drowned whilst Mr Mufti sits inside his car, presumably writing up the ticket. :brick:

Yikes what a nice chrissie pressie that rider got... NOT.... a ticket.... buggar.

Hope it wasn't a big fine....still the rider has got a month or two to pay it off.... bad timing thou. Still hopefully the police officer got back out of his car and went back to the rider at his bike.... and then the officer would have gotten drenched as well.
