I'm sure it'd be a far cry from my remote controled R2D2 I had as a kid that used to switch itself on all by itself with nearby radios...used to scare the crap out of me! :laugh:

Thats cool. I like the remote, and at only $2900 its steal!

And that would be $2900 in US $ too! But still pretty awesome. Had a look on the page showing outlets/dealers in United Kingdom and all were completely sold out! (p.s. no outlets in Aussie or NZ)

I had plans to make a remote controlled Jawa sandcrawler as a drink delivery system, and make little remote controlled R2D2 can dollies so you could drive your drinks around! :innocent:

Hmmm I still have my plans for them around somewhere...

Pretty damn cool - although I'd hope you would be able to turn the R2D2 sounds off. That shriek could get old rather quickly.
