Just reading a thread in the "Engine/Tranny" forum made me do a little ewetubing...
Just check this V8 Race-saw out...... :blink::crazy:

you have to ask why
why do you need a V8 powered chainsaw that can cut discs of wood in 4 seconds?
why do you need discs of wood?

Seems a bit unhandy for making sculptures... <_<
I don't think it would be very easy to use for cutting down trees either.

Thats robert andrews and I think his mate mike rupely in the video, rob built that saw about 7 years ago now. Its takes over 40 hours just to make the chain. its more of a exhibition saw although Robert races other saws in various classes.
Yeah chainsaw racing is a sport with LOTS of classes. Stock, worked, piped, alc and then you start getting into the custom saws made with MX bike or snowmobile engines. And then there are those using v6 and v8 car engines.
Couple of MX bike saws

you have to ask why
Like why did some guy a long time ago boil some oil and set a torch to the fumes just to see what happened?
Because he was a man!
Hu hu hu hu!
(Tim Taylor style)
Good stuff Nudez, I've seen a few of the big saws now and I never get sick of them!
I wonder how big their carbon footprint is????
most likely depends how many trees they cut down
after all what else would you have thought
lol
