***Best 250 in the market***
This is a fantastic NZ new bike. I brought it about 9 months ago when I first got my license and paid just shy of $12,000. I brought it because it looks like a real bike, unlike a GN250.
I'm now selling it for a fraction of what I paid for it, as I'm moving up to a higher cc rating.
It is great fun and really easy to ride. It will do 200kms on $11,00 petrol (at the moment)!
Full-featured cruising from front to rear, the Yamaha V-Star 250 means lean and low slung V-Star styling in a package to suit all riders. V-Star 250s air-cooled, SOHC twin cylinder motor makes a smooth, strong, aurally appealing spread of power that belies its miserly appetite for fossil fuels. With its long, 1530mm wheelbase, the seating is laid back and comfortable and the handling is easy, with a stable geometry that still provides the right amount of manoeuvrability for both highway and coffee shop boulevard. V-Star 250 - all the essential cruiser trimmings in a fi scally responsible 250cc package.
Telescopic front fork with 139mm of travel provides a nice, smooth ride.
Easy, dependable electric starting.
Forward-set footpegs enhance rider comfort by creating added legroom.
