I agree with you quasi. Was expecting alot after oceans 11 (it is alot to live up to), but came out of the theatre highly dissapointed.

Okay I should elaborate

The movie was crptic and disjointed, it lacked action and an understandable storyline, it seemed to be all over the show.
ALL the funny bits were in the previews and in the context of the scene itself werent really funny, perhaps just cute guys being cute for the girls who would laugh at anything to come out of there mouths.
Catherine Zeta Jones proved again her acting ability truly is without a trace of emotion and Julia Roberts looked like she needs to be tied to a chair and feed on KFC for a month she looked Gaunt and sick.
The typical cliche acting of Gorge Clooney and Brad Pitt was preditable, infact the acting was completely shite.
Mrs Evil Feel asleep twice and I feel asleep also.
I give this a Quasi star Rating of 1 out of five for good locations, I guess they needed something to attract the stars, and the fashion was good as well

We gave Anaconda a Quasi Star rating of 1/2 .

True power was good, i mean i was short shifting it most of time highest rpm i got it to was 8,000rpm , and sticking around 3-4 gear, it pulled like a train and i wasn't even hitting the power band,

The brakes were not as good as mine, even tho they are tokina radial mounted, The gixxer has better initnal bite on the brakes, they feel same once got harder on them, and well the zx10r is going alot faster so i would be wanting better brakes personally, the thing was very very fast, even tho you don't feel like ya going fast, which means loose licence easyier, yes yes running with all that power, but still, the sixxer turns in quicker, and easyier, The zx10r bike was noisy sounding, alot of wind buffering, and mirror shaking around, and the left hand mirror is next to useless ya might as well take it off. Best thing of the day was seeing my sixxer pulling some wheel stands(brother in law does awsome wheel stands)

I could never understand why they tried to remake what was the penultimate Rat Pack movie.

Same goes with The Italian Job.

Anyway, back on topic,

I didn't think much of the movie apart from the scenery. I loved the shots of Rome, I was there when they were shooting the movie, but I didn't see anyone famous, just the trucks that they were carrying their gear on etc. I would have liked to see Brad Pitt.

Its funny it made me homesick to go back to Rome even though I'm a kiwi.

Or at least if you are gonna do it - call it something different and add a different twist : e.g. Payback....

DO go and see the Incredibles - I don't think I've seen a "movie" that good in a while. A LOT of work, and masses of Hommage... ... Just AWESOME... (Of course, this was a movie, and not a film... Great Films recently: Garden State, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind etc.....)

I agree with Quasi, the movie was crap. What was worse was sitting in the theatre and seeing that you can get a special pass for $45 that included the DVD to Ocean's 11. At least that way you can go home and watch the reason you went to see it. :argh:
