I can see then that residents of properties bordering the roads that are common routes for the ATNR would be quite likely to go, Grrrrr! it's those bloody bikies again!" and get on the blower to the polis. Doesn't matter whether there's law-breaking involved (which of course there never is <_<) - a group of twenty or so bikes roaring past would give the impression of malfeisance. Heck, if they were going past my house every Thursday I might consider ringing the cops too. And because the polis don't have any other crimes to investigate, of course they'd be interested in an excuse to chase a few bikes, bust a few hoons, boost their ticket quotas...

There's residents there? where?
No seriously, there are FA and they are well back from the road in the vast majority of the cases. No hooning takes place in or around built up areas. However I do get the distinct impression that the cops are trying hard to tell us that quiet open country roads are not the place for this type of riding.

I seem to remember a post a while back that talked about one family that live along this road saying that they no longer bothered going to the bike races. They just sat on their porch on any weekend, watched the road, and waited...

Funny you should say that. I had someone have a rant at me today complaining about bikers racing by at well over 100km/h on old north road/peak road.

HP, STU, TAG, CVIU and SCU are funded to focus on Road Policing only. GDB, CIB, TP etc focus on crime/disorder etc. The only time that will change is when Govt mandate funding differently to what it is now.... I see another $13M is mandated for more road policing too.

Lol. Its good business to throw money at a profitable safe investment.

Australian pigs were they? I could believe that. According to LTR I have a sheepish smile, but I digress....

Back to the Ginga...........has anyone who has taken (wasted?) the time to post on this thread, who has been hounded by this (reportedly) ginga wanker made a complaint, bought a baseball bat or even chucked an egg at the dude? I doubt it. Why do I think that? Hmmmm.

At the very least, make a complaint; let's read your letter of complaint (so we can spell check it) and when it's finely tuned (so as to have at least some infinitesimal amount of credibility) it can be forwarded to anyone who has the balls to put their name to it (so as to add to the wanker's paperwork burdon) and get the procedure under way.....

FFS!

Do you want some wet-nurse to write the letter for you?

Actually, they're probably all sports bike riders anyway, so who cares how many tickets they get? The more demerits they get the sooner they're off the road and the better off the world will be.

OOOPS, thinking out loud, too late to push 'cancel' now!

What won't happen? Reality?

If you seriously want to make a complaint I'm happy to run over your letter and tell you what will and won't read right. Whether or not it makes any difference to the PCA is another matter but I have seen complaints from those who are less than 100% literate and while they may have had a very valid point their written material was shite. Stuff like that goes straight through the shredder well in advance of that which is well written and coherent.

If you're gonna do it, do it right.

Better to use the interim wisely.

Sift two cups of flour into a bowl. Add two eggs and mix well, adding milk until the mixture is thick and smooth. Add one cup of sultanas, one teaspoon of baking powder, a pinch of cinnamon.......

AND CONTINUE STIRRING.!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seems to me this thread is to piss off the Ginger Cops that read KB so they know were to wait and issue the tickets on the Thursday night ride.

Well would it not be more intelligent to ride regimental, stick to the posted limite, and behave, then if you are fitted up complain through the right channels,

If they have enough complaints involving a certain cop the will have to investigate, who knows you might just have some one on one of the ATNR that is there not for the ride but to catch some one abusing the position he has.

and besides if you all ride regimental, and he can't write any tickets he going to get pissed off wasting his time targeting the ride.

Just get your act together, and don't give them any excuse, and make sure you have evidence to defend what you claim

Please allow the ginga to remain. It ties up resources in a known area and allows the rest of us to ride other roads in peace and quiet.
