Yeah, now how did that picture slip into your post...?

I'm sure it was an honest mistake... or are you one of those who believe "sex sells..."?

I think, before I dig myself too deep, I'd ask Mom...:sweatdrop

I am sure attaching that pic was a slip of the mouse really

Time for Maha man to move on, personally I will be sad to see Neddy go, she has been a fantastic bike for us!

The time for change is long past to be honest, been holding him back for a little while now. It is time!!

I am getting excited about what is next. Not sure if we are ready to join the "dark side" yet though, you cruiser guys are really scarey!! :bleh:

May I humbly suggest trying a few different types? You'd be welcome to try mine sometime if you can't get a demo from a dealer. (I hope to get it registered again this week - it's been off the road while I've been out of work and we've had to economise on my wife's income. Hope to hear some good news tomorrow though.)

I never thought I'd be happy with a cruiser after the 600F, but while I'd like a sports bike for some solo fun, we are both in love with the C50T and can't honestly think of any other bike we'd prefer! Solo or two-up it's just so much fun!

Haven't made my mind up yet Rob...once the Triumph has sold then the race will on. But yes Hamilton was the first call I made, mainly because of TradeMe. As to where I eventually buy from?....Wont know until I have made my mind up on what I want...

Once you've riden a trumpy , though it might be fun to test ride a few bikes , it will be hard to replace ! Hows the reliability been for ya ?

Reliability?....great now, was good enough when I first got it but shortly after I had upgrade the suspension ( I chose Ohlins). Was told by a suspension expert that the suspension on the model I have was disigned by an accountant. I see that other Sprints on TradeMe still have original shock. Other than that, its been a great bike, still is, I just want a change. Had a good look at a CB1300 today (local shop) its on the floor dry but it seems that they will bring one up from Auckland for me to take out on the roads around here. Its Blue with Gold rims, very spunky indeed.

Yep heard that about the suspension, later model speed 3's aint got much better ! Did it just go soft on ya, or all but stop working ?
Tossin up whether to revaulve or go all out and replace with ohlins or sim.
Aparently the 675's are the only ones they've gone all out on suspension !
Will say my bike aint fun for Heidi long distance, seats ok but the pegs are set up for a 40kg spring bean who does yoga lol She prefers the 955 for comfort !
She's pushing her scoot out the door as i type this, on her way to sit her restricted ! (thank god, only 3 more months [with a defensive]to go) will be test riding the cruiser line shortly ! Could be an america or an older T bird in the stable shortly as she don't wanna go sport bike ! Bit miffed i have to use the 955 as a trade, wouldn't mind setting that one up as a track bike !
Good luck with the sale, have no doubt it will make for a damb good ride for someone !

I was really interested in a 04' Speed Triple at one stage, but like you say, suspension aint much better and will need doing by now so na, crossed that of the list, I am all suspensioned out. The CB1300 has Showa rear shocks so if I go ahead and buy that, they will set it up for me. The suspension on my Sprint started to bounce through the corners (wallow) if you like. Thats when I looked into it and after a few emails back and forth to Robert Taylor, I went the Ohlins way. I dont like the look of the new Sprints to be honest and if I can pick up a brand new bike for $13500 then why would I want to spend $17-19K on something else that wont really do it two up? The bigger Nakeds are really appealing...taking to a mate last night about them and he would have the Honda over the Suzuki or Yamaha. The finished product is outstanding.
My wife Anne says that my Triumph is the best pillion ride she has ever had, and she has ben around bikes all her adult life, the pegs on the CB are a tad higher for the pillion but will see how they pan out during the pending test ride.

Here is what I am looking at. http://www.honda-motorcycles.co.nz/bikedetails.asp?BikeTypeID=4&ModelID=64&type=
I wanna get the deal done asap (like this week) if that doesn't happen then early next week. If the boys in Auckland can get it sorted this week then theres every chance I could pick it up next weekend.

Insurance sorted, money sorted, bike will be sorted by tomorrow midday, plate on and tank full. I plan to have early finish (being Friday and all) will get the suspension sorted before taking ownership for the combined weight of XX kgs. Need to scrub the tyres in before the ride next weekend, so that will take place tomorrow pm. Pics will be added tomorrow, before I get it dirty :baby:.
