Yes, it always amazes me to see so many Scooter riders toddling off to work each morning wearing nothing but a Helmet in terms of safety gear... pretty sure roadburn still packs a sting at 40km :rolleyes:

Yeah, rather distracting for the person being filmed, I woud think.
Just because someone does something stupid, doesn't make them 'stupid'. Labelling people like this is detrimental to society's self esteem, IMO.

one thing it did do was show how much more economical/quicker a bike is over car/bus transport.

yeh it does....just call me no gloves, commander of the suzuki stardust!!
fell off (first one ever, funny how you never forget these things) on a wet corner with balding tyres (WOF? whats that?) and tore up my left palm pretty nastily (thank god it was the shitty slick tarmac and not my right hand) and that was at 25km..
i miss that scooter. for a little 50cc dinger it went 80km/h..:-)
gutted i missed that show too..would've been worth the laugh!

seems strange that it only cost $70.00 a year for rego for a scooter, when if you have a bike bigger than 50cc it costs like $160.00 for six months how is that fair???:no:
