    STUPID woman on Close Up...

Looking at scooters. 'You really have to watch out for Auckland drivers'

As she missed a truck in front stopping for a red light and damn near piles into the back of it

Haha saw that too , guess they had trouble finding someone to pull out in front of her when they didn't least expect it !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

Yes, it always amazes me to see so many Scooter riders toddling off to work each morning wearing nothing but a Helmet in terms of safety gear... pretty sure roadburn still packs a sting at 40km

Time to ban camera men following you around - obviously just about as dangerous as mobile phones.

Yeah, rather distracting for the person being filmed, I woud think.

Just because someone does something stupid, doesn't make them 'stupid'. Labelling people like this is detrimental to society's self esteem, IMO.

Staged of course. TV has to sensationalise - even if it makes her look a bit of a dick!

Should still help scooter sales tho.
It's OK to disagree with me. I can't force you to be right.

one thing it did do was show how much more economical/quicker a bike is over car/bus transport.
A universal dream of greatness is that
We push ourselves to the limit
Yet still be brilliant when the chips are down.
Sometimes , The struggle kills the dream.

Gaaah. Back to Planet of Women with you. You people have caused enough damage to society as it is.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

fell off (first one ever, funny how you never forget these things) on a wet corner with balding tyres (WOF? whats that?) and tore up my left palm pretty nastily (thank god it was the shitty slick tarmac and not my right hand) and that was at 25km..

i miss that scooter. for a little 50cc dinger it went 80km/h..:-)

gutted i missed that show too..would've been worth the laugh!

seems strange that it only cost $70.00 a year for rego for a scooter, when if you have a bike bigger than 50cc it costs like $160.00 for six months how is that fair???
