Sadly, the old girl has got to go as I cant afford to run 2 bikes.
She's no longer stock standard as I have modified the airbox & exhaust as well as replaced the rear shock with a CBR900 one as this allows adjustment for rebound & compression. Front forks have also been done with 15wt oil,new seals & longer preload spacer. These mods have transformed her & she handles beautifully.
Since Ive had her she's had oil changes every 5000ks,new front & rear wheel bearings as well as a chain tensioner added. New front disk. Uses no oil. Has brand new Michelin Pilot Activs. Rego on hold & will come with a new warrant.
Good overall condition
if it was a 250 you could ask $4500.

Nice bike:niceone: My old man has one of these, but his is shaft driven. Goes really well and handles beautifully. Good luck with the sale.
(oh, and 2.5 grand is too cheap)

They are pro twins and F3 legal I think. Cheap thrills for someone just as a racebike. they handle, too: a mate of mine had one, and one of the trackdays I went to there was a guy pedalling one very quickly.
I want I want, but Mummy says I am not allowed.... something about new shoes and groceries or some crap. :(

Aye ,they look a tad slack normally, been told that its a single sided thing & if adjusted "normally" they're too tight when the rear shock compresses & the swingarm is at its longest arc...I have got a tensioner from the States for it now.

Yes I was thinking of racing it, but Im gonna use the R6 instead. I have done 3 trackdays at Ruapuna on her & what a blast!! It may only have 50hp but you can use all of it everywhere, & with the suspension mods it went from a wallowing slag to a taut nubile :gob:& I was very surprised at how well it ran rings around many larger capacity bikes in the infield:yes:
They're quite a classic in thier own way (first production single sided swingarm) & I wll be sad to see her go,but she's going to waste in the shed.:weep:

Nice bike, looking for a reliable commuter with some more pep than the little GN250 for the weekend blast.Only problem is that by the time I got it up to Akld it may work out to expensive.

Supposedly VERY reliable & 80000km is no problem...same motor as a Transalp & a lot of people rate them highly

With the newer laws coming in, apparently this bike (NT650) will be on the learner approved list.

Looks awesome !!!!
If I had the available funding, I would snap this up.
However, wife, mortgage and Guzzi takes care of that !!!

Whats the rear disc like? Does the radiator fan work?Do you still have the original centre stand? Is the modified exhaust a lot noisier? Am keen but would like it checked over before buying and also would it be possible to get it to Nelson(for transportation purposes).

Rear disk seems fine, radiator fan works,I thought i had the centre stand but unable to find it, so no. The exhaust is not loud at all, just brings out the V-twin sound, more resonance without excessive noise.Friends have said it sounds awesome without being loud. Yes I could get it to Nelson & if you want someone to come & check 'er out that'd be fine.
Ive never had the fan come on with normal running, but I left her to warm up in the shed once & came back to find that the fan was running, but the temp was higher than Id seen it before.
