View Full Version : Who's not stupid??

Well here we are. I'm standing in the kitchen getting dinner ready and Ripper Roo92 says "Name a country starting with U". Now being used to trick questions in our household I immediately said "Uganda, Uruguay,United States of America" (getting a bit desperate with the last one, as I'm sure most people often don't put the United... bit at the start). Come with me says my son and watch this. So dutifully I follow him to his room and watch the youtube clip he has ready to roll. Look up "Americans are not stupid, with subtitles". I nearly wet myself. An Aussie reporter asks random questions in America and the answers he receives are side splitting.
Sorry I don't know how to embed clips so you'll need to look it up yourself. It is worth it. I'm still wiping the tears from my eyes.

p.s. my apologies to our American buddies out there, but you know we just can't help ourselves......

If you get asked that question always say Ubakistan. I have no idea if it exists or not, but usually the asker doesn't either......

I didn't see until 2nd viewing that Australia was actually labelled "Iran" on the map so that's why people pinned the thingy there; Australia and New Zealand had been labelled North and South Korea too I think which is why the odd comment about North Korea being so much bigger.
p.s. Thanks Usarka!

It's called "the dumbing down of America"

America got quite a shock in the early 60's with Russia launching the first satellite and the first man into space. It responded by overhauling its education system and started spitting out nerds with pocket protectors and slide rulers left right and centre in order to edged ahead in the space race and other technologies.

After the space race ended however, a deliberate decision was made to run down the public education system so they could turn out people more suited to be standing in production lines producing pickup trucks instead. :msn-wink:

So long as the American public can keep consuming, their Govt couldn't care less about them. They are the real collateral damage. Shame really, they all seemed like decent folk.

:gob:I remember seeing that a few months ago, showed it to everyone I could. I wonder if they still think Obama will be a threat to USA?!

They make me feel soooo clever

I wonder if the USA invaded Iraq by mistake? Perhaps they meant to invade somewhere easy like Malta but took a wrong turn?
That would also explain Vietnam. Perhaps they meant to help Hong Kong?

North Korea (Australia) > South Korea (New Zealand)
