You should see the Haast Eagle full scale model they have at Te Papa. They have it hanging off the ceiling and its swooping down on a moa. Looks so awesome, I wish those eagles were still around

well i dont...the moa was a very big bird and that haast eagle was big enough to pick it up...thats one big bird, altho they would look cool flying is the sky... :rockon: :2thumbsup

I don't think they'd last long if they were still around, especially if they feasted on road kill like swamp harriers. They'd take so long to take off, they'd get skittled all the time.

But didn't they only inhabitate Haaast or summat anyways?
