My in-laws' cat used to leave things it caught on the doormat. My mother-in-law nearly leapt out of her skin when she trod on a dead eel one morning, in her bare feet...

Our little dog brought home a goat head one day (it was half the size of him!) I was not impressed, as I'd just washed him from when he'd found some smelly fish under the neighbour's hedge.

My leather jacket that was delivered by NZ post...... to my front door....... wasnt there when I got home only saw it the next day torn to bits. I still love my lab though.

Our cat used to leave all kinds of dead things on the door step. Baby rabbits were eaten leaving only the tail, head and feet. Found a dead rainbow lorakeet once. She still tortures mice for hours then eats all but the tail, feet and face so we find these little mouse faces looking up at us.
My dog used to kill possums and leave entrails and fur all over the lawn. She once got into the offal hole and dragged out what I thought was a cows liver, rolled in it then left it by the door.

Also a rat with the other hairball:

Oh joy! We had exactly the same thing at 3am in the hallway just outside our bedroom. I was a little too preoccupied (trying to kill the rat and then the cat) to take a photo :_)

No. No, there are limits - and that's one of them.

Our grey psychopath of a cat dragged a live and mightily pissed-off pheasant through the cat flap a month ago - nice of him to bring food home. He used to regularly bring in rabbits until the bush was cleared next to our section.

Pens, usually ballpoint.....doesn't happen now cause we dont have close neighbours, but when we lived in a flat (in a block of three) new pens would appear at regular intervals...course the down side was that pens of mine would DISappear regularly too (they still do actually). I think the cat was running a stationery redistribution service........:weird:

I met my ex-wife while out walking my dog. Does that count? Took me ages to get THAT stain out!!

My two black and white monsters are really good hunters, and regularly bring birds home...trail of feathers and guts spilled non optional!

The other day, I arrive home late and start the dinner preparations when I saw something scurrying on my stove top: the cutest little mouse of course, with my cat staring at me reproachfully from the floor. The little might had been hiding under a pan probably all day...

I didn't have the heart to kill it and shoved it outside, just to find my cat back with it 5 mins later, decapitated and chewed up to hell

Years ago the bloody cat brought my flatmate's bra... out of her room, and dropped in in mine.

Took a bit of explaining and even then she didn't believe me... till about 3 months later we caught the cat in the act. Pheremones I guess...

A few years ago I caught my cat hiding the neighbours cats collar in his basket (perhaps he had decided to keep a trophy of his conquests?).

House full of friends and family and the dog brought in a pair of my dirty undies from the laundry. :shit: :o

Our cat likes to `feed' us by bringing home mangled birds/mice and rabbits. My poor daughter used to be too frightened to open her curtains in the morning because said cat would leave bits n pieces on her window sill for her to `eat' in the morning:blink:.
Said cat is now content to leave her spoils in the lamb/calf pen when there are younguns to feed......go figure:slap:

Other cat bringings home twigs and branches to build nests on the door step....can't quite work that one out<_<

My cat seems to like bringing mice and birds in while they are still alive so she can play with them some more...

Our staffy brought a used sanitary towel as a gift for our guests at a BBQ.

The original owner remains a mystery but guys, when invited, take burgers or beer or summat, It'll be much better received.

My sisters Border Collie dragged the afterbirth of a calf onto the front entrance of her house, and proceeded to spread it around a bit:lol:

Damn that was funny.

Cat dragged in a 5'-10" blonde with big tits.

What a fuckin' mistake that was. Bloody expensive to get rid of.

Cat brought in a very large black bird through the cat door while we were out of town. When we got back, ten days later, we found bird shit all over the house, the tub was full of feathers and assorted parts of the bird were stewn throughout the house. Looks like the cat had fun, for a while. House reaked as well.

Our malamute brought in the neighbours chicken (still alive) that had gotten under the fence and into our section. We took it back, minus a few feathers and in shock.

In a house a long time ago...

There was a house effectively behind us from a long drive beside us and they had a huge property. Massive garden, lawn, but more importantly a pond with fish and the odd frog.

The unusual part is often in the morning we would find not fish, frogs or birds but lilly pads or leaves!:Pokey:

Our somewhat stupid cat must have decided that they were a far easier target, but was nonetheless as proud as if he had caught the last moa.

Just the normal mice, rats (big fookin ones), insects etc and it used to be into bringing home teh odd rabbit.

Now he prefers to kick the local neighbourhood cat's asses...

A cat I used to own (she's dead right now) caught a fresh water cray in once!

My current cat used to always be bringing in mice & rats but he'd never killed the mice! So it was a bit of a tag team effort between him and the dog. I witnessed afore mentioned puss eat a rat whole...ewwwwww!!!

While living in Nova Scotia, Canada my partner's black lab accosted a porcupine while being walked in the woods resulting in a look pretty similar to the attached Rotty photo. Apparently porcupines are capable of unloading 'shooting' their quills if threatened and Archie got a face full.

Plucking the barbed quills out using a pair of pliers wasn't much enjoyed by us or the dog but not half as bad as dealing with as the results of a dog versus skunk encounter, which happened to both Archie and Picasso (a Catahoula) while we were there. Yes they stink BAD!!

Between the countless cats I've been raised with I've seen the usual stuff, but also ducks and rabbits, rats the same size as the cat who'd caught it, and recently a cat brought in not one, but two birds in one mouthful. There was also a large weta once, and huhu beetles.

We also once had a cat who chased the farrier's dog.

My cat (now r.i.p) used to bring in & torture the usual sparrows & mice, a few times he caught big wetas and even a huge green parrot once. The cat was never too happy when I hurled his kills over the fence

the cat brought home a little brown frog once. It walked in to the middle of the room, spat it out and looked at us as if to say 'what the hell is that?!?'

there weren't any punctures in the frog and it went on with the business of frogging around.

Aww that Wiki your cat is cute! :niceone:

It's amazing, hairballs, as I know them, bring in their catch to show us they really do something instead of sleeping all day. That's all my cats do. Eat, sleep, and shit. :third:

Our Gareth (tabby that is gay ... another story) dropped a fish under the bed a coupla months ago... flap flap... nice

His best mate (ginga, gay boy) , delivered an eel to our neighbours daughter a wee while ago. She still has not got over the trauma of the "snake" in the bed.

Had a lab once who must have been a mechanic in a past life, she was forever bringing tools from the garage into the house, one of our cats keeps catching Skinks and leaving them alive in the family room for the girls to find after school.
