B & B Bashplates! (http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=350070942083&ih=022&category=118140&ssPageName=STORE:PROMOBOX:NEWLIST#LIST)
$175 AUD + Freight.
Got one on each DR and they are the bee's knees! Dont look hideous like other products out there. Only takes couple mintues to put it on/off (handy when it comes to servicing). Protects the engine better than some other brands.

Speaking of bash plates,i have a Utah sports bash plate on the way (used one for AU$90) so will post up when it gets here.
Being aircooled, i wonder if there is a slight increase in oil temp with the cases being covered from some airflow.

have a look at nordie boys albums, he made a great one out of a road sign,
you could cut and fit it around what ever casings you wanted to.
Wired1 makes a pretty good one aswell
