He's obviously got a mineral deficiency. A lead injection will cure it.

Yeah um, don't drink it, but Gran's Remedy is awesome, stops shoes from being stinky and stops the feet from smelling too, or you could chop his feet's nose off.

Have him take a shower when he gets home, and keep the boots in the garage.

Sorted.

It's not as though you can smell them when you're riding.

HTFU.

Hmmm, make date with a shower, bar of soap and your boyfriend and wash his feet for him

Airing out boots/shoes to dry out properly really helps reducing any odour. leave them outside on sunny days to air out or put them by a dehumidifier in the garage for a while with the air flow blowing into them - works really well if you work outside and get the boots wet.

I find chopping them off at the knees and burying them more than a metre deep will cure this

What socks does he wear? Personal experience - Nylon socks seem to react with some shoes (badly!) whereas with wool there's no smell at all.

Woollen socks.
Always wear socks with boots or shoes.
Always wear leather shoes, not vinyl....
Wash feet twice daily (at least).
Go barefoot as often as possible.

Take the words out of my mouth why dont you...LOL

I learned a long time ago that natural fibres are the only way to go to prevent smelly feet. Interestingly enough a woman I worked with said she could not wear any synthetic tops either as no amount of showers and deoderants stopped BO.

You have to kill the bugs. It's their waste you can smell.
yungatart hit the nail on the head.
Get new socks is recomended.

You poor dear, so many smelly men in your life. I don't remember my dad or any other bike bloke in my life ever having smelly feet after being on the bike but maybe the brain plays tricks so that you can forget such unsavory things. If only it would work with OWNER.

It really is an easy cure.
Just have to remember it's caused by bacteria which multiply quite rapidly.
Henc the need to start with as clean a slate as possible eg. new socks. Woolen ones.. even in summer. Pharmacist would be able to supply something like 'Gran's Remedy'. A bacteriacide that attacks the smelly creatures on your socks and shoes... really important because they also get onto your sheets and anything else they are washed with. ... in the carpet....poooeeee.
We got rid of the smelly foot problem in our house by exporting it (him) to Australia. You may be able to do this if all else fails.

Baking soda. In shoes/boots and socks, not required daily, but regularly. And wash feet :D

Grans Remedy is wonderful but baking soda will do the job much cheaper.

Thanks sounds very grim, the whole stuff on my bed sheets!!

As for exporting him to Oz, noooooo. I am moving to NZ to be with him so him being in Oz would defeat the move somewhat.

Throw the old boots out and buy 2-3 pairs of new ones. Never wear the shoes two days in a row. If you don't print your own money go shop in the factory outlet stores but buy decent shoes/boots in leather or canvas.

Buy cotton or wollen socks from big chain departmental stores as they are cheap and if required wear two pairs a day changing in between.

Use some soap and water too... simple really unless he has odour that requires prescription treatment.

Keep the feet washed, like women guys need to get rid of the dead or dry skin under the feet.
clean the nails make sure your feet are not wet before putting on clean socks.
Do not walk around on dirty floors in scocks then put your boots on as you are putting dirt into your boots.
Put boots or shoes in well aired areas I keep mine upside down or on a shoe stand from the warehouse....$8.99.
Thats lets any sweat out. Every once and a while stuff the boots with newspaper to asorb any moisture.
get a foot spa they are great..
Never wear dirty scocks lol.Alt boots and shoes gives them a chance to breath.
when ever posible let feet breath in open air.
I hope this helps.
