Rally: Purple Moon

Anyone know anything about the Purple Moon Rally?

One of my mates has heard that it starts at Stillwater (near Greymouth) in mid-Feb then goes to Glenhope - anyone able to give me any more info please?

(I hasten to add that I am not going (I don't do tents), but my mate is keen)

wow... thats a new one on me. Will have to remember for next year. Tell us how it goes GB, I loved visiting Little Wanganui... awesome wee spot! Had a great weekend partying there once!
Passed thru last november on our BB tour as well, what a road on a bike, tight and twisty and went on forever.

Not alot of bikes last night, band was good and @ $2 a can of beer you couldnt help but have a good night .Weather here today is hot and sunny so come over the hill and enjoy.
