My FFM M9 helmet has a label that says the visor is pinlock prepared, and it has two plugged up holes on the visor.

What's the cheapest way to get a suitable pinlock insert for my helmet? I'm in Christchurch.

nearly any dealer should be able to get you one, pick your favourite and go see them,

That would have to be the poorly updated site in the country. They are still listing a jacket that they told me (some time ago) they can no longer get.:(

I'm not too sure if it's the cheapest, but if you are keen you can log on to the Nitro helmets UK web site. Have a look at the 1600VN, or 1610VN helmets. They are the same as the FFM M9, and have the pinlock inserts listed (dark, yellow, and clear from memory).

I find that the visor on my M9 is pretty good, especially with the breath deflector (glasses aren't quite so hot). Other wise I guess it's the good old Pledge on the outside, and dishwash liquid on the inside (lemon scented of course).

I tried to get a pinlock in early June for mine and whoever cycletreads rang, told them "next month".
