My oldest boy is going really well riding his PW80. I think though that the PW has tought him all it can.
I've got the shineray 150 but its a bit too big for him at the moment.
Before I sell his PW and buy a clutch/geared bike I'd really like to try out riding one

Could I PLEASE borrowa small bike with clutch for a day

Frosty,
We have a CR80 that you could utilise. It needs to be run in as piston and rings just been done. Am busy next weekend but if the weather okay the next weekend could come out your way with it and our quad with my boy. Then could have a go down on your track!!!!

Let me know.
John

my boys KX85 is up for sale at the moment but if you want to you can pick it up for a day seeing as how you do so much for the kids etc. It probably would be good for your boy to try as I have settled it down a bit with a couple of extra base gaskets so it won't scare the shit out of him after the PW. And I have some lowering links for it if it is to tall for him.

let me know ok

I'm not trying to sell it to you but I can give you the t/me link so you can have a look before you come all the way out to Howick if you like.

Its seat height that's important its 835 now but with std link rods. I had 50mm cutout of the seat at one time as well but all glued back together so you wouldn't know now. I never measured it with the longer link rods in and the seat cut lower but it goes quite low. They are also quite soft and drop 100mm when the rider is on.
Haven't got time to look tonight as I'm goin out to the sandpit tomorrow Lunchtime and I'm getting ready. But if you want you can bring him round and we can have a play with it and then take it for him to ride if he fits so you know what to get him in the future. The lowering link rods are really easy to fit 10 mins at the most.
