Im keen as on a ride:yes: according to the physio im good to ride again after 10 months off recovering:angry: long story but dont go to Taranaki Base Hospital if you have a dislocated elbow
The KTM is in at CKT at the moment getting a fortnights pay splashed on it:shit:and has been lowered 50mm so now this short arse can touch the ground:woohoo: They are keen to let me off work as I now have 668hrs A/L:gob:
I'm told under NZ law you could cash some of that in for a few extra pingers if you wanted too.

I've a busy schedule over the next few weeks, but if the bikes running OK, the weather looks fine, the stars align, the moon is in the right phase....I might be a starter. :woohoo:
That looks like fun

Well it sounds as though there is plenty of interest out there :-)
I will see what we can plan and hopefully put a couple of suggested dates up for comment during the week.

Hi Mike, as you know i always like it dirty ( the dirtier the better ) but i think that the idea of another scenic ride around the taranaki tunnels would be great. :sunny:
I would be a starter for sure and now that Suki Girl has moved up from her DR200 to the DR650 lowrider she is keen to do more riding also.:scooter:
Would you mind if we say headed up the Marakopa Rd (just a thought for now) - don't want to go too far into your area.....

Good news!! The "brains trust" met today - Phil, Colin, Murray (another fine KTM owner who some of you met on the last TTTTT ride) and me!
We have a ride mapped out, I am going to check what the bookings are like at the Awakino Hotel (if you don't know it - it is an old school genuine Kiwi country hotel) and will then start a new thread with the dates to see which date is the most suitable to everyone.
Will possibly be early November.
Now just have to think up an appropriate name for this adventure :-)

Will possibly be early November.
How about mid November? Early November is booked out already. Better still: Late November-Early December - it could double as my birthday party :innocent:

How about mid November? Early November is booked out already.
2nd that, early november has the auckland gravel riders rangiteiki ride and the minginui camp out. Then the next weekend has both the kaipara 200 and the dargaville adventure rides.
So mid november would be good or late october would be even better:yes:
