Very apropriate answer, he knows exactly who he is, and answered the question.
The use of theatrics was more interesting he was needing to act for the camera.

I find it very interesting to see the link between violent criminals and their usually abusive and violent upbringing..... not excusing it, just interesting.

My thoughts were much the same. I could not help but think what a great actor he may have been. I also suspect there is a greater intelligence in the man that what one would expect. Someone said 'spooky,' he was indeed.

The place that he hung out was very close to my house when I was growing up. After the murders, we'd go up there and ride around on our dirt bikes. We used to try to scare each other about it being haunted.
He's up for parole every few years and always says he'll kill if ever released.

One of the girls (I think it was Leslie Van Houten?) was just recently denied compassionate release parole; shes been in jail for 36 years. She has lost one leg, can't walk on the other, is comatose and I believe has incurable cancer. She is also married. What those psychos did was truly evil.
