Oh yeah I'll be seein' you again youngun.
Had the bike dyno'd at WMCC. The whole thing is crisper than sunburned eczema flakes. About 5HP gain at the top and a power curve that is straight as.
Anybody going over the Takas better get outta my way. (You listening Hayden)

I know I could do a topic search, but I'm lazy and we're already on the topic. Don't dyno's damage the engine? Possibly leading to a spectacularly blown engine?
Adjusting the power curve and output like you did, you'd need a Power Commander right? Or can you adjust a stock bike?

Maybe on them machined-from-cheese Yamahahahaha things, yeah.
Proper bikes, like Suzukis, handle it just fine.

Dynos don't harm the engine if they're operated correctly. Usually to remap power curves you need a power commander, but Suzuki's can use a TEKA that plugs into the OE CPU. Sets it up spot on.

.....or folks with a shit load of money.
Jimbo had around $700 worth of tuning done today. He didn't, however, pay for a cent of it as he was the extremely jammy bastard who won our Dyno tune competition last month off the website.

Sorry, I meant a Dynamometer. But if we called it a Dyna', people would think we were talking about a 45deg, 1450cc, aircooled, pushrod, mobile aircompressor.

No, that's being a little unfair.
It does have other uses, like paintmixer, vibrator, sound source for testing ear protection, tractor, posing pouch on wheels, cafe furniture, boat anchor, dork magnet.... why the list is almost endless.

I thought that when they had the last comp to win a Buell. I even prepared myself by taking a test ride on the XBS12S so when I had to ride my new Buell home i was used to it.

Funnily enough, Yamy-boy, I had a little dice with guy on a race preped '03 R1 on Saturday at the track. He shot up the inside of me into the sweeper.
Exiting, I just lined him up and rode 'round him. He's busy stomping through the box via a nifty quick-shifter and the ol' Gixxer's just driving by in 3rd.
Half a lap later he crashed out of sheer frustration.
Friend of yours?............
