    Spent all of today....

....listening to Jibo600s bike, wailing its head off on the Dyno.

    Shit jap multis are cool!

Made good increases in power too. He's all ready for the re-match at Manfeild. Unfortunately, the guy who tuned his bike, is also the guy he's trying to beat.

    Hmmmmmm....not smart.

Shoulda taken it to Sparky bills.

Oh yeah I'll be seein' you again youngun.

Had the bike dyno'd at WMCC. The whole thing is crisper than sunburned eczema flakes. About 5HP gain at the top and a power curve that is straight as.

Anybody going over the Takas better get outta my way. (You listening Hayden)

    Ok

I know I could do a topic search, but I'm lazy and we're already on the topic. Don't dyno's damage the engine? Possibly leading to a spectacularly blown engine?

Adjusting the power curve and output like you did, you'd need a Power Commander right? Or can you adjust a stock bike?

Maybe on them machined-from-cheese Yamahahahaha things, yeah.

Proper bikes, like Suzukis, handle it just fine.

Dynos don't harm the engine if they're operated correctly. Usually to remap power curves you need a power commander, but Suzuki's can use a TEKA that plugs into the OE CPU. Sets it up spot on.

.....or folks with a shit load of money.

Jimbo had around $700 worth of tuning done today. He didn't, however, pay for a cent of it as he was the extremely jammy bastard who won our Dyno tune competition last month off the website.

Different prize every month, just get registered on www.motorcycle.co.nz if you're not already.
