Sherco?

ive seen a few of thse bikes on trade-me.....the 450 is $14000 :crazy: so are they that good.....ive never seem one in use before...anyone know about them or have one

Yeah, my mate's got a 450 (06'?). He paid 6 grand for it and seems happy. Its got EFI and 'lectric start. A nice build too. Made in Spain.

Only had it out for a couple of rides so far, but no problems at the mo... It feels a bit like an 06' ktm exc to ride. A bit narrower though... Gonna take it out for another ride this saturday in karipoti (upper hutt)..

Yeah I had a look at one in the tron. looked really nice. Support though......... that would be my only red flag.

Mate of mine has one. Loves it. Does Enduros on it. No issues at all. Better than his KLX350 by far he says.

was looking at one on the weekend, in the flesh, Looks a realy nice bike, loved the cast ali swing arm, looked a well put together bike.

Pretty sure that the Sherco has a KTM engine in it so parts for that end shouldn't be a problem and probably won't be needed. Have a 400EXC with about 300 hours on it, so far no problems.

Pretty sure that the Sherco has a KTM engine in itI seriously doubt that! Even Husaberg who is now owned by KTM doesn't have a KTM engine, although there are a lot of cross over parts these days especially ancillaries.

Nothing wrong with Sherco that I've heard about. Long-standing Spanish brand, do more trials bikes, but every Spanish manufacturer does more trials bikes, 'cos that's what they're into over there.

Sherco make there own motors,

Beta use KTM Motors in there enduro range, i have not seen a Beta Enduro bike in NZ, i have seen a couple of Sherco's

The Beta's are here (italian). Saw a couple of guys with the 450's a few weeks back. I think a guy' on the Kapiti coast imports and supports them. Real nice machines! KTM engines..

had a sit on it felt well balanced especially after the 426,
seat is kinda hard though
