One iof my boys had one of "those" freak of chance incidents.
Riding around on his PW80 he flicked up a bit of strapping into the gap behind the head.
A couple of minutes later the bike was like a rocketship--suddenly had a heap of power.
That lasted all of about 40 seconds befor the piston nipped up. throwing him off the bike.
Seems the strapping had with pinpoint acuracy hit the tiny little oil feed line to the carby cutting it in two.

I managed to unseize it and get the pistong goin up n down but its none too health
HMM--anyone know what a new piston and rings and a rebore will cost?

guy we use dose them for bout $65 last time i used him
prox piston kit from motoworld for my yz 125 i just sold was only $120 xtra $15 would have been genuine

well the good news is it seems the poor little sod has recovered.
reconnected the oil line and fired it up--hmm a bit rattly but it runs --hmm..

got to love two strokes like that, :):)

PW80's have a boreable cylinder so you will not do any more damage by running it like that,
