Might go for a ride on Sunday. Probably go find some clay. I have the itch and I've just worked till 2am last night and 1am now so its my fathers day present.
I hear Thunder is dry now and is Kimis open yet.

Thunder would be my Pick if my budget extends to all the gas and entry required to get the bikes down there? That'll be a good hundy gone?

I'm going to have a go at pootling round Ardmore (Oh my God...Racing....!!!) on Sunday.... Why should the kids have all the fun....It'll need to be dry for me though.....

I talked to James from thunderpark yesterday, it is pretty dry up there now, he opened on wednesday for the season

Nah thunder is not a race track unless you race track others there for a lap or two. We eill be out there next week end cant go this wekend to much on.

He's doing OK, had only 33 hours in the seat. That one caught him out, but you know what its like to be a teenager.
All balls less brain! Good on him though, its the only way they learn at that age by, hurt pride and PAIN!!
He's ok now! And No damage to the bike. So its all good!

Im gonna head to either PR Thompsons track in Ngaroma or Rockhaven Farms- Pirongia - they re both only $10 per bike per day.Hopefully Pr T's cos there awesome jumps there and big cambered berms. Just been too wet till now.I better ring first to check though.

goin fishing on sunday, stand on the beach and see what i can catch, the flu proberly but its good just to relax a tad, was pretty tired on monday after pushing all those 2strokes through the bike park, was loving the criminal trail and most of the tight stuff.

Try the bombng range of you like. Been there a few times but now that The Sandpit as improved so much its better to pay the $25 bucks and get some good bush tracks in as well as sand dunes.

poor steve, he was a bit worn out after a session through the convics and criminal then a bit of off the trail excursions in the convics area.
there were a couple others that i pushed along in the red tracks, but screw the one you put in on the other side of the road, i got tied up in a big knot lol,

If you pay to get in Via the Sandpit you might get KTM boy into trouble if you get caught on the beach near there. You could deny it but maybe we should check to see what the rules are for him to keep the sandpit going! Youd probably be ok all the way down at the bombing range but I would guess the beach outside the sandpit is a no no.
Don't want to screw up that facility for eveyone.

thunder was awesome today, considering the amount of rain:baby:
but there was only one bit that was really crappy, ill say where it is so no1 has to deal with it cause its pretty bad
in the open paddock before the long straight thru the trees that is the end of the a track, there is a strem crossing and then you ride thru a gate then to the left down a little hill then over a bridge and under really dark trees
right before the little bridge is a bog about 15m long caused by the stream and takes up the whole track
so after half an hour of pulling bikes out i notice that there is a hole in the fence so that you dont even need to ride thru the stream in the first place and you dont need to ride thru the bog
i was impressed :thud:
to find the hole dont ride thru the stream in the paddock instead follow it towards the trees and there is a nice hole to ride thru
so apart from that 1 bit the rest is easily rideable or avoidable:2thumbsup:
James siad when we got there, that on the first weekend open hes already had an injury, someone fell off and knocked themselves out, also werent wearing gloves or a long sleeves:buggerd:
