Any other plans for the forum? Gonna post rides up here etc? What the hell are we going to do with it?

In the (temporary) spirit of seriousness...

In any given week there's anywhere from two to a dozen different things being discussed in the Meeting & Events' "Manawatu Talk Crap Thread". I figure here we have a chance to split them up into different threads and make things a teensy bit more manageable.

At least, that's my theory. Doesn't carry any particularly weight, so you're welcome to ignore me. :)

Personally I'm just looking forward to posting a "Got a new bike" thread. With the way work is right at the moment that's probably a couple of weeks away - talk about an exercise in frustration. :)

Sounds good. Might be nice to have threads for each ride (planning, discussion, ride report, pics etc), showing off bikes, other events etc etc.

Or that could all be far too organised...

Looking forward to your new bike thread Horse.

That this forum exists is fantastic.
As a newbie it is quite challenging to follow all the threads. The chat is still all over the place. I like the way you've all got it going but targetted threads would be a hell of a lot easier. Tech stuff, bike dynamics, Honda raffle could be maybes. There are a lot of Manawatu riders out there. It will evolve.
