Whoo, holycrap. Guy up there really hates me. Since my post with my first ever crash (you may remember that didnt go too well, but hey shit happens ay) where I have failed to stop, in the past 3 weeks this what has happened to my bike, have a laugh:
1, Failed to stop in time, swerved into a car. Totally my fault (2,1/2 weeks ago)
2, A person has reversed into my bike (oh well, these things happen who cares)(offered to pay btw) (1 Week Ago)
4, So I pull from the lights, this time not in my 0-50 in less than 1 second fashion but in a rather nice, more down to earth way, the next thing I remember was my amazement of the new laws of physics, where apparently accelerating doesnt cause you to be pressed backwards but rather, make you fly with a massive force forwards. Hey I was thinking to myself during the flight, at least I can get 5 seconds of free flight time, damn, to bad I cant log it, oh well, here comes the ground... oh shit, not again! bang! Everything went into slow motion and i couldnt hear anything, just a constant squeak in my ears. but soon everything went into play again as Mia (my bike) caught up to me and fell down 5cm away from my body with tremendous force... if you thought that this was enough wait, the guy in the SUV who was the cause to why the laws of physics been rewritten (if you havent figured he rear-ended me btw) slams on the brakes, there is too much speed, to fast, and ends up driving over me. Thankfully the car had the clearance for my body, otherwise I would have been mince meat. So, I stand up and walk over to mia, hoping like hell the girl is still alive, and what ya know... she IS!!! I was so happy at that moment. The guy apologized which was cool by me, and obviously offered to pay for the damages
3, Knee down around a corner, on a well known road to me. Encountered diesel or oil, down I go, not too bad, recovered on rebound when I hit the ground hehehehehe, I didnt even get what happend at first
4, The bike got stolen overnight, and then found again 400 meters away, looks like it has been given one hell of a run.
So, if you think that you are having a bad week... please tell me so that I can stop feeling bad for myself. But I hope you got the same good old laugh out of this as I did. What else can you do other than just praise the day, smile and thank god that you still have a motorbike left... and have only a gravel rash on one side of your body...(obviously my guardian angel has totally taken that guy up there by suprise) (she still goes like a monkey on steroids... what a tough bitch), I love that bike:love:, any other one would have falen to pieces by now. Have a good one guys, and lets hope you wont be as unfortunate as me.
Ciao

Umm, dude, hate to sound like a c*nt, but I'm reading at least a couple of those as being avoidable. You're situation awareness needs work.
But some of these sound like frigging awful luck as well. Stay off the bike for a week, anyone of these events makes my list for self imposed mandatory stand-downs...

Hahaha, yeah, maybe a Heiniken would be a better idea. As a good man said, a DB is like sex on a canoe... Fucking close to water!

Well, CHCH low flying area, Rangiora and Wigram mostly, but its OK, thakfully when it comes to helicopters my luck is a bit better. To those out there who dont fly, in the air helicopters are like motorbikes, small, without doors (sometimes), and takes a lot of skill to master. Fixed wing (aeroplanes), unless you are doig acrobatics or in the first 100 hours, well... as fun as counting the stars on the sky...but then again, a lot safer...

Heigh ho....I hope my fairings are ready within the next fortnight.
Thankfully, in all of the crashes my fairings were off , due of minor cracks in paint and pannels, whooooph! At least I had the right timing with em'! And gee thanks!
hahaha what a week!!! great attitude bud, might wanna keep your eyes a lil more open though.....you're as wily as a cat but even cats only have nine lives.....
lol, yep, somewhat true... somewhat totally true, I am taking a week off to heal my road rash and just stay in bed and do nothing, let this front pass over and start all over again, and since my bike at the repair shop (the guy was almost prepeared to give me a VIP card) I cant go anywhere anyway, so ahhhh... where is my martini?!
Two words......Lotto ticket.....or.....ICE Card, see sig for details ;)
Whooo, probably need one of those... Hope for the best preapeare for the worst

Yeah, I know what you mean mate. After 3 years of motorbiking not a single crash (apart from a coupple of stationary drops :angry2:) and then this... Well, believe me I will be very carefull now, I think 4 should stay my magic number for a very very long time. Hopefully for ever.
