Don't do that much off-road riding anymore due to lack of time, work commitments ra ra. My precious '04 KX500 done 40 hrs only has been sitting gathering dust I've been on the throttle with it only twice this year, I know it's a rare 'ish Bike but is it worth keeping or quitting and ....what do think it's worth ? Paid 10,750 in March '04 new. Pretty much standard but, Answer bars, Moose handguards and heel guards, V-force reed kit and a brand new Gnarly Pipe...std exhaust and new tyre on the back. Never flipped or dropped and in A1. As I say I've been looking at it too much and not riding but in no particular hurry. Or...should I just hang on to it ?

No Motard, but I used to race my TT600 at the Timaru annual beach races, well twice. Used to always be in front till I fell off and finished at the back of the pack, good memorys.

man i would be one of those guys that want that bike,
there were 12 04's brought into the country, and only 10 in the 4 years before that, (5 00's and 5 02's)
as for what its worth, thats a good question, its not really going to drop in value if you keep it, cause the 04 was the last of them,

Sell it to someone who will get use out of it, good to see these legends out and about rather than reading about ones with dust on.
If you want to know it's worth stick it on trademe $1 no reserve.

Could have a top price buyer for you in an instant :msn-wink: My boss had the very last brand new one to be sold in NZ (well he kept it instead of putting it up for general sale through the shop) totally regrets the day he eventually moved it on :pinch:
