Interesting story this http://www.superbikeplanet.com/2005/Jan/050126b.htm I guess they didn't like Yamaha kicking their butt.

All sounds pretty desperate doesnt it? I was reading Nicky Haydens comments, wonder how clever it is to completely change your whole crew like that?
Also read that Honda are pushing for MotoGP to be 800cc rather than 990cc. Rumour has it that Honda have tested a V3 and are also building a V3 around Dani Pedrosa's small frame and he will test later this year. Think Honda my just have to suck it up, hope Rossi retires and look to the future with Pedrosa.

Sounds pretty radical - doesn't seem like they'll have much hope of running for the title this year.
Horiike revealed that while HRC has decided to drop one Australian – they would happily welcome another back. "If Jerry (Burgess) wanted to come to Honda we would welcome him, anytime, for sure,"
Sounds like a bit of a blow for their current tech guy - and the season hasn't even started yet
