I've got a good mate who runs a business that uses about 2000l of diesel per week. We're wondering how much farm or marine users get it less than retail if any, and how you go about getting a supply. The diesel needs to be delivered to site.

Approach the fuel companies, dont know if there will be much of a price diference for only 2000 litres.

we get farm diesal delivered and it is about 3 cents a litre cheaper than pump if i remember correctly or it might be 5 cents.
they all deliver but we use rural fuel and the truck just brings it out.
we found rural fuel to be the best as it is the drivers who decide where to go to deliver.eg: our driver knows we go through about 200l a fortnight when we busy and about the same for 6 weeks when we not so he comes accordingly and they are never late.
with ther other companies we had shockers with delivery time.
you obviously have storage so it shouldn't be a problem the only thing is with tanks bigger than 1000l i think it is have to have a concrete bunt around them.

shit should be better deals than that i get 4.5c a liter on the fuel card and we only spend $1000 a month and your lookin at $12500 a month you should get a way better deal. Then again we are talkin fuel companies arnt we.
