I rode scoot this morning, for a change I was joined by my mate Nikki who added class, intelligence, and bling to my otherwise humble Gixer. We headed across to Kohi, and were one of a good number of others who were supporting the annual breast cancer (Pink Ribbon) ride organised by WIMA.
The ride was pretty well organised, aside from a moment or two of confusion in the bottom of town as red lights cut into our ride time, we rode in an orderly fashion to the Springs. I bumped into a number of people and had a good time catching up and chatting away.
So, the point - it seems to me that I seem to lose people to either cancer or drunk drivers - so big ups to the WIMA's - (and I bought four, yes FOUR raffle tickets and still didn't win the Honda scooter, just gutted!).

A group of us headed down to the Wellywood venue. Great turn out there too.

Fantastic day for it in Aucks. Was great to be part of such an awesome event and a highlight for me was seeing a beautiful angora lop bunny sitting in his vespa owner's topbox (custom modified to house said bun), and a most handsome black dog riding in his owner's sidecar. Harley and Max you were the most gorgeous males there!!!! (ooops, sorry guys :dodge:). Huge :2thumbsup:2thumbsup to the organisers and to the police, including the lovely policeman who retrieved my $2 from the non-working drink machine

I was reflecting (as I surveyed the bikepark, full of bike candy, that I couldn't pick my KB'ers from the rest who were assembled. Is there a secret handshake, a sign, a signal???

You could've picked us uni bikers out because we were riding like twats with nothing but singlets, shorts and gumboots for protection.
On a more serious note though, dang good ride, and +rep to you OutForADuck for teaching your boy to be such a excellent pillion! Looked like he even enjoyed my cruisy pace too, which is a relief. :niceone:

Silver and black with a red tail? With a 12y/o pillion with a white helmet?
If they were behaving, then it was me.
If they were doing anything naughty, then it was a stunt double.

I was on a loud GSXR, behaving impeccably since my pillion is a black belt TKD, and she doesn't have a sense of humour when it come to speed.
