Hi all,
I recently bought an 07 Speed Triple and one of the first things I noticed was the fact that my heels couldn't touch the ground when sitting on it (avg height of 5'10ish). No probs there. So last weekend I take the lady on the back of it for the first time, again no probs there but here's the thing, I can now place my feet flat on the ground when sitting on the bike! What's happened??? It would seem that the bikes dropped 10-15mm after that ride.
Hope you can learn me,

If it was a brand new bike, suspension does settle a bit after a few k's.
Normal.

I think they may be taking the piss !
Have a gander at the shock and check that the preload crank down nut hasn't stripped or unwound at all ! mine is wound down so there is aprox 8 ml of thread showing !

If you've got the dosh ohlins do a fully adjustable rear shock for the speed (good if you wanna take it to the track or do a bit of two up riding). You'd probably wanna upgrade the forks at the same time though

07 should still be under warranty. Go bother the dealer - that is what they are there for. And then tell us what the problem was.
