It's finally happened.

We've had a death on our corner.

Our beloved 16 month old ginger cat, Bombastic, was taken out by streetracers on Thursday night and left in the gutter to die until someone disposed of him yesterday afternoon.

Our neighbours haven't known how to tell us but they let us know today.

Gutted doesn't start to describe it.

See you around littlle fella.

Sorry to hear about that mate, I think this is why my sister wont let the cat out at nights. Hope you find the basterds that did it and do unto their cars.
hard luck and my condolences.

Cheesecutter across the road ...... ????? :niceone:

The fuckers need a good old fashioned wake-up :ar15: .....oil on the corner ... either that or sit out there at night with a brick and lob thru their windscreen as they go past !! ... :kick:

That stinks mate,so easily could of been a kid,the recent one at our place was just miracle no one was hurt.

I have never killed anything bigger than a pidgeon on the road, the smaller birds are hard to avoid as they can change direction so fast.On the roads I ride I meet all kinds of wildlife,we have some close calls, but both sides are good at avoidance.

So I am really puzzled to see dead animals on the road - I mean,a hedgehog is so slow how the hell can you hit it,unless on purpose? Dead possums everywhere...they freeze, easy to miss.Cats can be tough, but they seldom stop their move, they are focused on the other side, you know where they are going.I used to live where there were a lot of ducks,it was always sad when I had to bury them - I stop for all duck.

Life is precious - ALL life.

Who cares about them .... ???? dumb fucks is all they are ... if they were to think about what they were doing and do what we do then I would have some sympathy but they don't ... they are lazy and stupid !! Let them die I say ...

Just sprinkle a little bit of sunshine* into all those racers petrol tanks, it'll make you feel all better :sunny:

For those of us in urban areas... ( I've talked about this already today) ... We should have the same spike strips that the cops have... rig it up to a couple of ripple strips... Two cars racing... shoot out the strips... cars go past... Retract the strips in to the bushes, justice.

I call it the SICEM - Sedge Is a C*nt Emergency Mangler

actually possums are quite good at getting away sometimes.
1st time driving van out to cape palliser i swereved all over road to try an hit them but missed every one until a sharp corner where one ran out an took me by surprise no time to react.

bit like my friend who ran out in front of a train on wednesday. an fuck you spudchucka you insensitive mutha fucker. literally if i did see some thugs beating the crap out of you anywhere i would call you a cab if i was having a good day.

Mrs H and I are "cat people". Having lost four of our beloved Abyssinians to dickhead cagers outside our place, we feel your grief!

I can sympathise deeply, we have three cat landlords and while they can be a real pain trying to demolish the cat door at 3.00AM, I'd be devastated if we lost one.

Stevo and myself had a close call yesterday while getting ready to ride to Picton. Standing in the train station car park chatting when 2 cages tried to "race" the length of the car park. Bloody hell, if they swerved there would have been 2 very pissed off bikers looking for them.
