Well last year was great fun and we had a really good turn out. So I thought I'd put some dates up and see what the general consensus is.

GNCC is on the 6th so that is probably out

Following weekend is the Mr Motrocycles ride

then the 20th/21st is probably the best time (if you haven't gone on leave.....) which is also the weekend of my birthday... :)

Then next question is where. Maybe we just all go to the Mr Motorcycles ride and have a BBQ there? Easy enough?

Crap, didn't realise your b'day was on the weekend 20/21st, can I take back my vote......

Would be good to go somewhere that the kids can go as well, easier for me to be allowed out if I take the whole family!!!

Kimmys is pretty good, you can see everyone bail  plus theres something for everyone (trail, MX, minitrack) but it is kind of pricey..

I dont mind on the date though, got 3 months holiday starting thursday :D:blip::drinkup::nya::woohoo::2thumbsup

Ive never been to thundercross bike park before so that is what i voted for and also the mr motorcycles ride.

Sunday 14th December 2008

Paparimu, in association with the Paparimu School

This is a awsome ride, make sure you have good tyres on your bike as your need them, might not be as suitable for younger kids, as one of the bike parks would be.

Last year was good every one had a good time at Kimmys bike park.

Two thumbs up chessel for starting this tread.

gotta be kimmies again, the only park that offers trails and mx, besides the sandpit of coarse but thats not really a mx track!

kimmies, like telliman said it has everything
also if it was the mrcycles ride, they have a leaving time, and kimmies we would probably be able to stay longer, for more riding:Punk:

do you want sand in the food?

Na went to Kimmis last year and he did bugger all for us! To expensive especially if I take the family! Stuff him!

I reckon Mr Moto ride or Thunder!
At Thunder we could probably book the top paddock so we know all there are from KB and mingle better. We have enough Gazebos for cover. Use their BBQ (trailer it up on their quad like last time). The kids an wifes can play in the loop directly out front of us, the intermediates can B loop and all the A riders can put 5 bucks in and the fastest around the A loop takes all on the day! That's was Barty's idea last time and should generate some competition and some injuries!! LOL!!
My 2 cents only??

you'll probably take the prize as well you mad bugger (goin on the GNCC results) but it'll be worth 5 bucks just for the fun of it!
Second thoughts we should take $20-00 or so out and have a prize for the lowest time as well (without falling off)!! That'll help pay for my gas down there!
It'll give us a pecking order on KB as well! LOL!!!

Why dont you gather the coop...kezzafish, secondfield and all you fella's make a trip up north?! :Punk::Punk:

what a nice suggestion. Somewhere to stay wouldn't be a Drama cos my westie brother will put us up but i can't justify of afford the trip. Hmmmmm, thinking about it....

OK then! The balls in your court do a Wellington poll or organise a Wgtn bash. Make sure you take pics and post so we can all share!!! Good luck!

A wellington bash with 4 of us would be a little camp. maybe our "do" could be the "chutney ferret run" with less talking and more booting and elbowing.....it might bring us all closer

yeah, it wouldn't cost that much but every dollar counts and by the end of a weekend you'd have to spend at least 300 each if 4 shared a vehicle towing bikes. i'm struggling to get the cash together for reatihi and that's not even 2 weeks away. i've known about it for more than a month. Anyway. tow bikes to Auckland to go for a ride? yeah right theres more riding to be done between here and Auckland than in most countries in the world. Fucked if i could by pass that just to come see you clowns!

I've ridden Thunder many times and i went on Sunday and it's the first time i didn't really like it....the tracks were pretty rough,a bulldozer run over some parts of the track wouldn't hurt

Thunder gets my vote, i was there on Sunday (with GreenMachine) up to my knees in mud on the A track, loved it, hope the mud stays for a bit longer yet the bogs were wicked...............shit it took ages to clean the bike

Bit late in the piece now! Posting a who wants to go poll is no good really. You have to go to step two and organise everyone. Basically wipe there butts for them. Like, be there or be square! at this time! on this day! Ring up organise the BBQ, and a gazebo or 2 and the book the top paddock for us, and leave a thread up for a week or so before hand or it won't happen!

Good luck though, if a few of you get together out there!!!!
Take some pics and post up! Merry Xmas all!

I think I've got people coming to see my bike so I'm out anyway!
