KB end of year Xmas ride

Well last year was great fun and we had a really good turn out. So I thought I'd put some dates up and see what the general consensus is.

GNCC is on the 6th so that is probably out

Following weekend is the Mr Motrocycles ride

then the 20th/21st is probably the best time (if you haven't gone on leave.....) which is also the weekend of my birthday...

Then next question is where. Maybe we just all go to the Mr Motorcycles ride and have a BBQ there? Easy enough?

Crap, didn't realise your b'day was on the weekend 20/21st, can I take back my vote......

Would be good to go somewhere that the kids can go as well, easier for me to be allowed out if I take the whole family!!!

Kimmys is pretty good, you can see everyone bail plus theres something for everyone (trail, MX, minitrack) but it is kind of pricey..

I dont mind on the date though, got 3 months holiday starting thursday
My choice is what I choose to do,
And if I'm causing no harm, it shouldn't bother you.

Ive never been to thundercross bike park before so that is what i voted for and also the mr motorcycles ride.

    Sunday 14th December 2008

Paparimu, in association with the Paparimu School

This is a awsome ride, make sure you have good tyres on your bike as your need them, might not be as suitable for younger kids, as one of the bike parks would be.

Last year was good every one had a good time at Kimmys bike park.

Two thumbs up chessel for starting this tread.

kimmies, like telliman said it has everything
also if it was the mrcycles ride, they have a leaving time, and kimmies we would probably be able to stay longer, for more riding

do you want sand in the food?
we may just go where no ones been

Na went to Kimmis last year and he did bugger all for us! To expensive especially if I take the family! Stuff him!

I reckon Mr Moto ride or Thunder!
At Thunder we could probably book the top paddock so we know all there are from KB and mingle better. We have enough Gazebos for cover. Use their BBQ (trailer it up on their quad like last time). The kids an wifes can play in the loop directly out front of us, the intermediates can B loop and all the A riders can put 5 bucks in and the fastest around the A loop takes all on the day! That's was Barty's idea last time and should generate some competition and some injuries!! LOL!!
    My 2 cents only??
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '

you'll probably take the prize as well you mad bugger (goin on the GNCC results) but it'll be worth 5 bucks just for the fun of it!
Second thoughts we should take $20-00 or so out and have a prize for the lowest time as well (without falling off)!! That'll help pay for my gas down there!
It'll give us a pecking order on KB as well! LOL!!!
