I was up at the sandpit today, came around one of the faster tracks by the old carpark into a blind sweeper, and there was a fucken massive tree down on the track, caught me out, cartwheeled once on the bike then spat me off, ended up under the tree and the bike a long way away facing the other way could of been alot worse off had i not flipped the bike and ran head on into it. No luck at this time, went down hard last week at matata and pulled out on the fist lap.

haha, i cartwheeled my bike a couple of weeks ago just after the big dipper, grabed a hand full just before a tree and landed 6ft down a bank in a cutty grass bush, it was a large branch (log) across the trail that got me, funny thing was theres no over hanging trees where it was!

Thanks Andy 101.

Tree no longer exists. Sorry about that, as after a big blow we check all the main tracks.
Some trees just can't stay upright:zzzz:

Yea normanly cautious afther a blow, but there has been no wind did not even think abut a fallen tree up there, my shoulders and neck are still tender from smacking the ground so hard, but that is part of the risk of riding and racing long live the 2 stroke.

With Woodhill, one "lap" for me is an hour or hour & half and I don't do the same route next time so I guess you just look where you're going...

Mind you, I'm bloody slow too, so don't really get into a "surprise around a corner" situation!
