Come to think of it my neighbour traded his Nissan Micra for a Aston Martin DB9. I just assumed he got a good trade.

When I worked for the old NZPO one dudes old man won the 'Golden Kiwi' (250,000) which was a frickin fortune in them days..

He reckoned his dad said that now he could not only get the hole fixed in the front seat of the Mk1 Cortina, but he could probably go mad and re upholster the whole damn thing....

Even in those simpler times - This announcement was greeted by stunned silence... (a whole new Mk 3 cortina was like $1,500)
