Just back from a successful jaunt on the 250 - Rode around Westport Streets then out to Carter's Beach (100 km/hr with L plate flapping in the breeze..!). Friendly woman who assessed me actually complimented me on my riding - had trouble getting my helmet off after that...
She rigged me with a 2-way radio and earpiece which, on first test, just about deafened me - then ceased to work at all, so the whole route was done from memory.
I'm chuffed - now to find a suitable course to fast-track my full in 3 months.
