Must've got sick of working for Harley hehehe... well, either that or got sick of MV pimping the same old design for so long, even as timeless as some consider it.

I'd have been getting pissed if I were him... sure it's good looking enough, but surely as a designer he'd be itching to make the next big thing?

I agree. They have stagnated with the design.
The problem lies in replacing them and the public ridicule that follows. Look at the 916/999/1098 series as an example.

Yeah, 999 is ageing a hell of a lot better than the 1098 with its flower petal wheels though :puke:
