Now I'm sure a lot of you will have a lot of different witty come backs to the title, but...

:nono:

....I'm trying to find some footage of a particular wheelie.
After a bike race (don't know where or when) a guy was so happy he pulled a wheelie.
It went past vertical. The amazing thing was....he saved it and kept riding.

:gob:

How is it possible to do that? I wonder when WT will try the stunt?

Anyway, can anyone help me find this footage? Or at least what the guys name was, the race was...anything.

Thank you in advance. :niceone:

If it was in the GP's (500) a famous one that almost went wrong was Biaggi . Look on the Motogp site in the archives. You'll probably find it in there. Cheers G.

Yep, I think StoneChucker has posted a thread about it. It's Biaggi. I'll see if I can dig it up and get a link for ya. I've got it still, it's pretty crazy

It was probably Max Biaggi on the Factory Yamaha 500 GP bike, sorry cant remember the year or which track it was. He won the race did a victory wheelie basically lost it over backwards and then regained it without crashing Awsome.

GO MAX!!!!. No someone had it as thier avatar. As to how it's done well you know how the back brake brings the whilie down. Well he did the same thing but kinda slowly put on the rear brake as it went past verticle. The funniest thing about the whole thing was the comentator

The back brake will bring a wheelie down that has gone past the vertical. Remember that although it is leaning backwards, the bike still has forward momentum. The back brake turns that forward momentum into rotation about the wheel that brings the bike down.

Easy

Seriously, though - takes more skill and courage than I've got!!

You need to download a codec.. if you running it through microsost media player be online when you do it and it downloads it automatically. Or just go download media player 10

I had the same problem so I downloaded it so I could check which codec it used. It's just a standard Indeo video codec which should already be on your PC.

When I tried running it from a local file it worked fine!? :spudwhat:

(I'm using Windows Media Player 9)

Hey, you still want that video? It's pretty small, 600K I think (0.6MB) so I could e-mail it to you?

PS: yes, I did post a thread about it a while ago.

how does that work..? Just thinking about how you'd set it up.. I can't see why it couldn't be done, but not without a heap of hassle.. what else (apart from over exaggerated wheelies) would you use it for..??
it'd kick ass tho!

fooooook, that's one hell of a brown-pant moment..
