Check out the new speed cameras, apparently these are in Wellington at the moment!!

If true, what's to stop Joe Public, just rotating them away from the road, or placing a refuse bag right next to them. It's hardly illegal to move wheelie bins on the verge, or put your rubbish bags next to them.

BTW doesn't it break council bylaws if you put a bin out on the verge, more than a certain time before/after collection day? Now that would be an interesting prosecution! :D
