For the price, and no pickups allowed....I smell something fishy

One of the more obvious scams I've seen... Notice the car parked facing the wrong way, so probably photos taken in the US. Surely nobody would be stupid enough to fall for a blatant scam like this?

Ohhhh....good spotting. I'll have to pay more attention. Good thing I'm just naturally suspicious

It's bullshit. I viewed an auction last week for a black R6, same price and details - different vendor.
Later that day I had an email from TM advising me not to bid as it was a scam trader and he had been withdrawn from the site.
If it looks too good to be true, then it probably is.

And the foliage in the background of the last shot looks photo-shopped.

Just got an email from Trademe warning me that it's a scam.
Good to see they get onto these quickly...it was only listed today, and I only viewed the auction less than an hour ago.
Not that I ever intended to buy....I had assumed it was stolen or damaged..the overseas aspect was something I hadn't thought of.

Yea, you quite often see ads like this pop up, normally photos just pulled off the net, the seller wont let you view the bike for whatever reason but requires a deposit..... you can pretty much guess the rest.
Hope nobody ever gets sucked into one as it would be an awful thing to happen, but then again, a new model R6 for just over 3k?? Should instantly set the alarm bells off.

And it definately pays to be a bit suspicious when buying a bike! If the sellers genuine they wont mind at all, unless they've got something to hide...
