The road to mars

Hi there,

I've been riding a yamaha sr250 for 3 months or so now and it seems to be going alright but I bet it could be better. I'm sure it could do with a good service at some point and there are probably a few things that could be tidied up for it. Thing is I pretty much know nothing about how to adjust things (clutch, brakes, throttle) and service the bike properly, but I would love to learn these things. Are there any kb events that I could putt along to where people might give me a hand with this sought of thing?

Is anyone else in the same boat as me?

Haha, Yeah, I'm pretty much in the same boat...I mean, I'm sure with a little tinkering and google we could work a bit of it out... but nothing beats being shown how something works... and you're more likely to break something working it out yourself  :innocent:

I'min the same boat as well, if anyone in Nelson wanted to show me a few things - clutch adjustment, chain adjustment etc. I would be very appreciative.

All very simple stuff to do.

Oil change, brake and clutch adjustment and all the small things should be in your bikes owner's manual. Otherwise the internet will have pretty comprehensive guides to do things.

Otherwise, as mentioned above. If you were in Auckland I'd be more than willing to help.
