Seat foam?

Well having just got my fairings all painted up for my race bike I need to get some seat foam. I need it to be about 25mm thick and am unsure where to source some pieces from. Living in alexandra means that my options nearby are, as far as I know, non-existent.

So does anyone know somewhere I may be able to source some from? Not sure on the grade or type, just needs to be hard wearing and preferably black or gray.

Hey Kirk - have you tried that closed cell foam stuff that outdoor shops sell as sleeping mat (snow foam). It's only 10/12mm thick but F2 2 bits together??

Yeah that is a last resort, I'd prefer to get a proper piece so it looks a bit nicer.

Try Can-do-Vincent (panel beaters) in Enterprise St. Ask for Janice. She can source all that sort of stuff.

My upholsterer friend here says try these guys http://www.ultralon.co.nz/industrial.html They are in Chch and make the sort of thing you describe.
