**********Make an offer!!!************

Although I have had a bit of interest, nobody has fronted up with cash yet so I thought I would see what people are willing to offer for such a fine example of modern(ish) engineering. I am willing to pay a commission in the form of beer for a sale so tell your friends, workmates, aunties dog's vet etc and anyone else you can think of!!!

Cheers

Thats right - my CB1000.

Since buying this I have been doing heaps of km's and as we have now decided to stay in this fair land of ours the time has came for an upgrade.

Honda CB1000F "The Big One"

- 45,000kms but still being ridden until sold
- Very good condition
- Good tyres
- Current REG & WOF

Great bike with heaps of power and a bucketload of torque. These engines are a de-tuned CBR1000 engine so they are pretty much bulletproof.

It is really comfortable to ride and with a seat the size of a small African nation you can ride all day and still walk at the end without having a numb butt.

Makes an excellent 2-up tourer and yet I still find it pretty well behaved and easy to handle around town.

Cheers, Phil

I have had a bit of interest in this and as such have met some "interesting" people - mainly through TM not KB'ers but thought I should clarify a couple of things.......

- if you are about 5'6" and weigh maybe 65kg (assuming you are wearing a backpack full of bricks) and want something you can use for putting around town with your wife on the back of, this isn't the bike for you.

- if your budget tops out at $3500, then this bike also is not for you

- if you are going to stand there and tell me about how you wouldn't get insurance for it as you have recently written off two 600cc bikes and have never ridden anything the size or weight of a CB1000 then don't expect to take it for a ride unless you have a handful of cash you are going to leave me

I love selling privately!

Enjoy the long weekend if you have one!!

Worth every $ just to be able to legally tell every girl you meet 'I have a big one and I'll take you for a ride'

I have updated the details and will consider offers. I am not desperate to sell but would like to upgrade so hopefully someone out there wants it........
