Chatham Island trial riding weekend

hey guys just wanting to see whos keen to join sum of us for a weekend of free riding on chatam island.
we have a free pace to stay and shit loads of riding to be done pm if you need details

how long does it take to get to / from, how do we get to / from, what does it cost to get to / from

is riding here legal? how many people are invited? is there cops on this island?

is there a medical provider on the island?

just answered some of my own questions:

there is one cop, who also serves as most other government jobs as well
there is a hospital with a resident doctor
you can get there by plane or boat, plane takes a couple of hours~ from auckland welly or chch, or you can go by boat from napier or timaru. this takes about 4 days.

so how do we get bikes there?

fly out from napier bikes would go via conroys to get the bikes across the cost is 25.00ea riding dirt bikes there is legal we just need to respect the locals on the beach if we go down via beach all natural open rolling hills etc
we will be staying at the pub as a friend of mine owns the pub so free staying just pay for our meals and drinks.
i will be taking 100 litres of fuel and 50 litres of oil and spare parts should be a good ride soon as we get say 4/5 or more people i can organise the flight threw a mate who will take us on his nz post plane :)

I google earthed the Chats. About 50k x 50k of land. Don't know what the restrictions are though. Some of the terrain looked decidedly knarly.

no cost for us to go over in the plane my mate is the post guy hehe
and for the bikes to go over its 25.00each would be 3 days of pure fun and drinking,riding and free accomadation just have to pay for our meals and drinks but im sure we can take our own drinks etc this is a random idea i had a few weeks ago lol
and have a mate who does video making so hes going to record our trip and then edit it and give us copys plus i will have my helmet cam

Seems like the old adage of "too good to be true". Free airfares, only $25 to ship your bike, free accomodation once your there, and free reign of the island to ride all over?

If it's all for real, count me in, but I'm not holding my breath. I grew up on an island that's only a 10th the distance off shore, yet I've never had a free airfare to it, and these days it costs $25 just to freight a banana box let alone a motorbike and 50L of fuel! Speaking of which, most freight companies wont let you send petrol.
