Musically or sexually?
Valid question. Definitely musically.
I'm concurrently working, dribbling online and have music TV tuned in.
I became aware of pedal activity in time to 'Hold me now' in the background.
The last time I did anything uncool was 1974, so i think it must be OK. Best to ask a local.

Alannah Currie is a Kiwi political vegan, who achieved recent "prominence" as part of a misguided bunch of ill-informed scaremongering feminist luddites branded as MADGE. Lives up north somewhere.

Shamelessly pinched from Wiki...
"Thomson and Thompson (Dupont et Dupond) are two bumbling detectives who, although unrelated,[21] look like twins with the only discernible difference being the shape of their moustaches.[22] They provide much of the comic relief throughout the series, being afflicted with chronic spoonerism, and are shown to be mostly incompetent in their tasks. The detectives were in part based on Hergé's father and uncle, identical twins who wore matching bowler hats."

The Adventures of Tintin.
My kids have been reading these again, and I passed some time recently revisiting my youf and read "Tintin Colonises the Congo" or some such.
Gawd they're a bit dated. All shooting elephants for ivory and getting a "boy" to carry the luggage and stuff. They stopped short of piccaninnies but only just.
How far we have come.

And nothing wrong with the 80s or the Thompson Twits. What did Dragon do other than April Sun in Cuba?
Waits for howls of outrage directed at uneducated immigrants.....

They sold millions and TV is still playing the Thomson Twins music 30 years after their heyday - I would aspire so.

As a child of the 80's (no I wasn't born then, I was in my youthful prime) in my opinion it is not wrong "to like the Thompson Twins". Ahhhh the memories!
Including (I might brag) Alannah Currie phoned my house in Dunedin to speak to my Aunty (I was about 10 at the time and completely wowed!).
