Has anyone seen these cops and do they also have quotas? Seems like double jeopardy. First they set up kohanga. Education and now Crime!

And from a related website - a how to guide for wriggling out of charges;

"This is the story of the M.T D (Maori Truck Driver) One Friday early evening The M.T.D was driven home in peak hour traffic by his Daughter when she had to take evasive action because a taxi driver cut her off. upset the M.T.D and his daughter gave chase the taxi stopped at the nearest bus stop averbal issue started and the taxi driver yelled out ( I.m going to f...k your daughter) The M.T.D. was charged with assult. The M.T.D. told the Police I give you no statement ,written , visual or audio. He also told them they had no Juristiction they Laughed. IHe was to appear in the Waverly court ect ect.....How do you plea said the judge in a typical judge way.... I enter no plea said the M.T.D the judge goes nuts and said you have to have a lawyer ,adjourned 2 wks..how do you plea said the judge like judges wheres your barrister I.m not rich.was the M.T.D reply... you had better have a good reason why you havent got a law representative. I did She was prsented with a Statutory Declaration The M.T.D reminded the judge about her sworn oath to the Queen the M.T.D read out her oath she said whatever it was recorded.then the M.T.D.said that (this courthouse has no juristiction over him under sec 2 of the He wakaputanga O Tinorangatirtanga O Nu TIireni 1835,Sec 2 Te Tiriti O Waitangi 1840 and sec 2 of Te Ture Whenua Maori Land act.. Nervous was the Judge she adjourned for 3 mths .. The Media were there covering another incedent They questioned the M.T.D about these laws the M.T.D said go away and study these laws for if you show my face and this issue , You will make me famous and rich but John Howard will make you Unemployed, they laughed They rung the M.T.D 2 days later we're not touching you youre far to hot for us Kia ora. 2 mths and 3 wks later the police informed the M.T.D that the charges will be dropped because they could,nt find the Taxi driver a week later the charges were dropped The Immigration Customs and police couldnt find him...
- yeah right.

But then maybe it really is opt in or out with our Justice system... a well kept secret was that claimants dealing with the 1980's Waitangi Tribunal said they'd accept Restorative Justice within the system, as an alternative to a proposed seperate legal system (as the treaty strongly intimated was feasible), if only they could also have the Resource Management Act.

It seems these guys missed hearing about the deal Durie struck for the Crown... or can Policing be considered a different kettle of fish to the Justice system and up for grabs. This is confusing - where is the interface, and who you gonna call....

A common theme in these rangatiratanga websites (the ones not sporting guns, masks and declarations of muslim solidarity) is the old Maori religion of Io(apparently one quite bastardised by early missionaries, but these guys seem not to know), and belief in prophecies of soon ruling. At Uni we learnt these movements are called cargo cults - am rather surprised to find what seems to be a lot of support - at this late stage in Euro settlement.

But will they force their jurisdiction on me as a honkey, or will they only go after maori drivers/riders?

Hey I have an Idea! Let's just split the nation in two! Have a law for maori, and a law for everyone else! Because it's a maori thing it's not at all racist! cool!
I wonder if I can join this "maori police organisation"? or maybe not because i'm white......however it's not racist....only maoris not being able to join the NZ police would be racist......ohhh are they going to start their own defence force and ambulance and fire service too??? would certainly help the white euro males get into jobs that maoris get for being maori! (I mean because they're better candidates-crimminal record or not...) Shit ignore that last bit, it happens but I forgot it was racist to mention it.....

has anyone clicked on the link that leads to home rescue? all sounds like someone is playing an april fools joke. lol. if you don't want to pay you mortgage, you give these guys a call, they do some stuff with the law and suddenly you don't have a mortgage, no one "owns" the house or land, and you can't sell it for money.

If no one owns the house does that mean i can go into and start living there, and they can't kick me out?

need to get rid of the treaty i say, and start some laws that are common to everyone, no mater what race you are.

That mortgage thing seems to be that banks can't act if its Maori Land and the transfer was not correctly registered which happens they say - could just buy time while lawyers sort it.

TVNZ news tonight has people recommending special sentences for Maori devos - like no Tangi.... ouch. Prolly fair call in this disgusting case of an innocent killed for wrong t-shirt colour apparently by P heads.

Renewed calls for Maori Justice System
A Maori Party MP is advocating a Maori justice system following the death of Jordan Herewini. The 16-year-old was run over in Murupara on Tuesday night by the driver of a ute that had been stolen from his family's home.

Police are closing in on the person who drove the ute involved in Jordan Herewini's death after finding the vehicle abandoned on farmland.

Locals are blaming gang violence for the death and there are concerns that tensions between the Mongrel Mob and Tribesman will worsen over the incident.

Waiariki MP Te Ururoa Flavell says it's time Maori took responsibility for stopping this type of behaviour where Maori are involved. He says the idea was put forward by lawyer Moana Jackson and it's time the debate was resurrected.

Flavell says Maori should be tried on marae because they are bigger and more public than the courts.

Flavell knew Jordan Herewini personally and has described him as courteous, humble and respectful. He says he visited Jordan's school and the teenager travelled with him and his colleagues on his election campaign.

The MP says Maori should consider banning violent criminals from having funerals at marae. He says it is a contradiction for Maori in gangs to request their members be farewelled on marae, when they don't respect whakapapa and threaten or take lives.

Passed the dude. Didn't know what the fuk he was. Laughed and took off into the distance. Gingerbread man styles.
